I have been purchasing this brand for over a year now, and it works wonderfully. My 1 year old puppy doesn't like to eat it, but when I crush it up into peanut butter it'll be gobbled right up! My 8 year old lab does enjoy the taste, however, and eats it whole! Just like some dogs like soft, chewy treats and others do not. Don't bash the homemade treat when your dog simply doesn't like the texture/taste, when others might! It's unrealistic for every dog to like the taste of the same product. Overall, the product works so well. I never see any fleas or ticks on my dogs with this medication, and I live in the deep neck of the woods! Just crush up the tablet and feed it to them in wet dog food or peanut butter and it will be fine :) Bought this from my vet for my Dogue de Bordeaux and love how it works! It definitely lasts longer than 4 weeks. 2 months after my pup was given the first dose, I was still finding dead ticks on her frequently. She has to be coaxed to eat it, but nothing is perfect! I usually use comfortis for my dogs. But one of mine is on seizure meds and couldn't take anything but this. I am completely satisfied. I gave it to him yesterday and today no fleas. He has allergies because of these pests and always scratching till he bleeds and be was losing his hair. Couldn't sleep because he was miserable. Baths would help but i was giving so many that he caught a cold . So when i took him to his vet this iscwhat he recommended . . Will be ordering more . And i would totally recommend this 100%. I was so frustrated because I was using the Frontline Topical and it was no longer working. My fur baby was so miserable and scratching so much until his hair started falling out. He??s a labradoodle so he doesn??t shed. I kept taking him to the vet and she kept giving him steroid shots And prednisone for flee allergies. I took him to his other doctor to get a new prescription for the Heartguard Plus and she recommended Credelio. At first I said no because I had never heard of it so I was given NexGuard. I read the box and saw it was made by Frontline and said never mind, I??ll try the Credelio. I figured since the topical was no longer working, there??s no need to try anything else they made. I gave him the Credelio w/peanut butter because he wouldn??t chew it otherwise because he didn??t like it and kept spitting it out. Needless to say he was able to sleep through the night and I gave him a good bath the next day and rubbed him down with coconut oil. He resting easy and no more scratching.
